They'll be fine.

They'll be fine. Make sure they have water and put their litter box in the shower/bathtub.

They'll be fine with water, food and a litter box. They'll probably sleep all day

Put a note on the bathroom door that you have cats in there so the painters don't go in there to use the bathroom.

^Yes, please make sure the painters know not to open the door. That's my biggest fear when workers are at my house, that they'll accidentally let my dog out or something.

They will be fine. Cats sleep most of the day, anyway. Just make sure they have food, water and a litter box. Maybe fold up a blanket or a towel for them to lay on.

They'll be fine. To be honest, I'm more concerned about the fact that they want you to leave your apartment unsecured all day, where anyone can walk in as they please. That would creep me out so bad.
